Gemyni's first feminist anthem 'Don't Blame the Girls.' was written and produced by the 20 year old singer, inspired by the misogynistic, unfair treatment of women throughout time. The song calls on the world to introspect on their own ideas of what a woman should and shouldn't do; it provokes listeners to examine their own internalized stereotypes. The problem isn't women--the problem is society's ridiculous expectations of what a woman should be.
